Help with Physics (Projectiles Launched at Angles) question!?

0 votes
A quarterback throws a pass to a receiver, who catches it at the same height as the pass us thrown, The initial velocity of the ball is 15.0 m/s, at an angle of 25.0 degrees above the horizontal. What is the horizontal component of the ball's velocity when the receiver catches it?

Given initial velocity of the ball  (u) = 15.0 m/s

Angle θ = 25°

The horizontal component is ucos θ

                                            = 15 * cos 25

                                            = 15 * 0.9063

                                            = 13.59 m/s

The horizontal component is 13.59 m/s
