Can you please help me solve these two questions?

0 votes

I have a test tomorrow and I want to be 100% sure I got these 2 questions right:

1) What is the density of a 70 g block of wood that has a volume of 100cm3?

2) What is the mass of an object whose density is 4.56g/ml and has a volume of 22 ml?

Sorry if this was a stupid question and thanks in advance.

(1).

Calculate the density by using formula : Density = Mass / Volume.

Substitute Mass = 70 g and Volume = 100 cm3 in the above formula.

Density = 70 / 100 = 0.7 g/cm3.

(2).

Calculate the mass by using formula : Mass = Density * Volume.

Substitute Density = 4.56 g/ml and Volume = 22 ml in the above formula.

Mass = 4.56 * 22 = 100.32 g.
