The points are A = (-8, 3) and B  = (6, -1).

Let A (x1, y1) = (-8, 3) and B (x2, y2) = (6, -1)

Lenth of the Line Segment =    √ [(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2]

Substitute  A (x1, y1) = (-8, 3) and B (x2, y2) = (6, -1) in above equation

AB  =  √ [(6 + 8)^2 + (-1 - 3)^2]

      =  √ [(14)^2 + (-4)^2]

      =  √ (196 + 16)

      =  √212

      =  2√ 53

Answer :

Length of the Line Segment is  2√ 53.
