12x3 - 3(2x3 + 4x -1) - 5x + 7   =   12x3 - 6x3 - 12x + 3 - 5x + 7

                                                 =   6x3  - 17x + 10

Answer :

12x3 - 3(2x3 + 4x -1) - 5x + 7   =  6x3  - 17x + 10.
