Given (x-6)/5 + (y-6)/7 = -4----------(1)

          x-5y = 36-----------(2)

Taking L.C.M for (1)

7*(x-6) + 5*(y-6) = -4*7*5

Distribute the terms using distributive law

7x-42+5y-30 = -140

7x+5y = -140+72

7x +5y = -68---------(3)

Solving (3) and (2)

         7x+5y = -68

          x -5y = 36

    -----------------------

        8x = -32

   x = -4

Substitute x value in(2)

 -4 - 5y = 36

-5y = 40

y = -8

Therefore (x,y) = (-4 , -8)
