Slope-intercept form line equation is y = mx + bm is slope and b is y - intercept.

Step1. First find the y-intercept.

b (y - intercept) value can be found by replacing the x and y coordinate values in the equation with the given points. repalce m =5and (x, y) with (-2, 4)

4 = 5 *-2 + b

4 = -10 + b

add 10 to each side

4 +10 =-10 + 10 + b

b = 14

Step2. Write the final line equation.

repalce m =5 and b = 14 in Slope-intercept form line equation y = mx + b

y = 5x + 14.
