g(x) = 1x^3-2 = x^3-2

g(1) = 1^3-2 = -1

g(4) = 4^3-2 = 64-2 = 62

Average rate of change = g(4)-g(1)/4-1

= (62-(-1))/3

= 63/3

= 21
