Given binomial is 8x^3y-2xy^2

= (2*4*x*x*x)-(2*x*y*y)

Take common out possible terms from above expression

= 2xy(4x^2-y)

Factoring of 8x^3y-2xy^2 = 2xy(4x^2-y)
