Standard equation to parabola is y = ax^2+bx+c

Compare it ,the given equation 2x^2+3x-2

a = 2,b = 3, c = -2

Axis of symmetry is x = -b/2a

= -3/2*2

= -3/4

It is x coordinate of vertex.

To find y coordinate of vertex,substitute the x value in equation.

y = 2(-3/4)^2+3(-3/4)-2

y = 2*9/16-9/4-2

y = 9/8-9/4-2

y = (9-18-16)/8

y = -25/8

Vertex is (-3/4,-25/8)
