Perimeter of rectangle is 500ft

Formula for perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)

Here l,b are represents length and  width of a rectangle.

2(l+b) = 500

Divide to each side by 2.

2(l+b)/2 = 500/2

l+b = 250

In this case we can't find the length and width are exactly.

But the sum of two dimensions is equal to 250ft.
