Write the prime factorization of each monomial.

10z4 =2∙5∙z∙z∙z∙z

 20z6=2∙2∙5∙ z∙z∙z∙z∙z∙z

Write each prime factorization in the exponential form.

10z4 =2∙5∙z∙z∙z∙z=21∙51∙ z4

20z6=2∙2∙5∙ z∙z∙z∙z∙z∙z=22∙51∙ z6

Multiply the highest power of each factor in either monomial.

LCM=22∙51∙ z6=20z6
