Area of triangle = 1/2*b*h

Area of squre = a^2

Side of the squre(a) = 10"

Area of squre = 100 squre inches.

Given squre and triangles are equal area.

A = 100, base of triangle = 10"

100 = 1/2*10*h

100 = 5h

Multiple to each side by 5.

20 = h

Height of triangle = 20".
