The area of of a triangle is 1020m to the second power. If the base is 40m long, what is the height

solve, using given formula (A = 1/2bh).

Given 

The area o f a triangle ( A )  =  1020 m ^2

The base  of  a  triangle ( b ) =  40 m

Let  the height of a triangle h

The area o f a triangle  ( A ) = 1/2 bh. ----------> ( 1 )

Substitute the values ( A ) & ( b )  in equation ( 1 )

( A ) = 1/2 bh

1020 = 1/2 * 40 * h

1020 = 20 * h

51 = h.

Therefore h = 51 m.

Solution : The height of a triangle  ( h ) = 51 m.
