solving for h.

Surface area of cylinder = 2∏r(r+h)

S = 2∏r(r+h)

Divide to each side by 2∏r.

S/2∏r = r+h

S/6.28r = r+h

S/6.28r -r = h

h = (S-6.28r^2)/6.28r
