Best answer

= 2x[(x + 1)(x + 5)]

FOIL method: the product of two binomials is the sum of the products of the First terms, the Outer terms, the Inner terms and the Last terms.

= 2x[x(x) + x(5) + 1(x) + 1(5)]

= 2x [x2 + 5x + x + 5]

= 2x(x2 + 6x + 5)

Distribute terms using distributive property:  a( b + c) = ab + ac.

= 2x(x2) + 2x(6x) + 2x(5)

= 2x3 + 12x2 + 10x.
