The Probabilty of Andy studies math over break P(A) is 0.3

The Probabilty of Betty studies math over break P(B) is 0.4

The Probabilty of Betty does not studies math over break image = 1 - P(B) ⇒ 1 - 0.4 ⇒ 0.6

The two events(Andy studies math over break and Betty does not studies math over break) are independent events then image

The Probabilty of Andy studies math over break and Betty does not studies math over break is

image

Therefore the Probabilty of Andy studies math over break and Betty does not studies math over break is 0.18.
