The Quadratic Expression is x²+5x+2 = 0

When the expression is in the form of ax²+bx+c = 0 then the values of x are

x = [-5 ± √((5)²-4*1*2)] / (2*1)

x = [-5 ± √(25-8)] / (2*1)

x = [-5 ± √17] / 2

x = [-5 ± 4.1231] / 2

x = [-5 + 4.1231] / 2 and [-5 - 4.1231] / 2

x = -0.43845 and -4.5615

Therefore the values of x are -0.43845 and -4.5615.

The Quadratic Expression is 2x²-5x+1 = 0

When the expression is in the form of ax²+bx+c = 0 then the values of x are

x = [-(-5) ± √((-5)²-4*2*1)] / (2*2)

x = [5 ± √(25-8)] / (4)

x = [5 ± √17] / 4

x = [5 ± 4.1231] / 4

x = [5 + 4.1231] / 4 and [5 - 4.1231] /4

x = 2.2807 and 0.2192

Therefore the values of x are 2.2807 and 0.2192.
