(4x^2 - 5x + 2) - (2x^2 - 3x + 2)     =    4x^2 - 5x + 2 - 2x^2 + 3x - 2

                                                      =    4x^2 - 2x^2 - 5x + 3x + 2 - 2

                                                      =    2x^2 - 2x

The resultant is  2x^2 - 2x
