The system of equations are
y  =  - 3x + 4------------ > (1)
x + 4y  =  - 6 ------------> (2)
Substitute Eq(!) in Eq (2)
x + 4(-3x + 4)  =  - 6
x - 12x + 16  =  - 6
- 11x + 16  =  - 6
- 11x  =  - 6 - 16
- 11x  =  - 22
11x  =   22
x  =  22/11
x  =  2
Substitute x = 2 in Eq (1)
y  =  - 3(2) + 4
y  =  - 6 + 4
y  =  - 2
Answer :
The Solutions are x = 2  and y = - 2.
