Slope intercept of the line y = mx+b

Given line eqation is 3x+4y = 9

Apply subtraction property, subtract 3x from each side.

3x+4y-3x = 9-3x

4y = 9-3x

Apply division property, divide by 4 to each side.

4y/4 = 9-3x/4

y = 9/4-3x/4

y = (-3/4)x+9/4

Slope of the line = -3/4

Slope of the parlell line is same,so it is -3/4
