1)a)4.5

here 4 hours and 5 minutes

the number of seconds for 4.5 minutes = 4*60*60+5*60

=14400+300 = 14700seconds

b)2 days = 48 hrs =48*60*60 = 172800seconds

c)1 year = 365 days = 365*24*60*60 = 8760*3600 = 31536000seconds

d)3hours 6minutes 25seconds = 3*60*60+6*60+25seconds

= 10800+360+25 = 11185 seconds.

e)1.1minute = 60*60+60seconds = 3660seconds

2) a) 5 hours = 5*60 = 300minutes

b)12 minutes = 12*60 = 720seconds

c)8 weeks

1 week = 7 days

8weeks = 8*7 = 56 days

d)3.5 years

3.5 years =41 months = 41*30 = 1230days/7 = 176 weeks

e) 4 days

1day = 24 hours

4 days = 4*24 = 96hours

f) 580  seconds to minutes

1 minute = 60 seconds

580/60 = 96.666 minutes
