7x = 2y+1

7x-2y = 1 --------------- (1)

4y = -3x+15

3x+4y = 15 ---------------- (2)

(1)*2+(2) ⇒ 14x-4y = 2

                 3x+4y = 15

                __________

                 17x = 17

Apply division property, divisible by 17 to each side.

                 x = 17/17

                 x = 1

Substitute the x value in (1)

7*1-2y = 1

7-2y = 1

Apply subtraction property, subtract 7 from each side.

7-7-2y = 1-7

-2y = -6

Apply division property, divide by 2 to each side and cancel the signs to each side.

2y/2 = 6/2

y = 3

Solution x = 1,y = 3
