Given inequality is(5x+5)/5 < 100

Multiple by 5 to each side.

((5x+5)/5)5 < 100*5

5x+5 <  500

Subtract 5 from each side.

5x+5-5 < 500-5

5x < 495

Multiple by 5 to each side.

5x/5 < 495/5

x <  99
