Standard form is y =mx+b

Here m is slope and b is the intercept of y.

Given equation 5x-2y = 10

Subtract 5x from each side.

5x-5x-2y = 10-5x

-2y = 10-5x

Divide by negitive 2 to each sidde.

-2y/-2 = (10-5x)/-2

y =-5+5/2x

y  = (5/2)x-5

So y intercept is -5
