Say the points (x1,y1) = (-2,3)

(x2,y2) = (2,7)

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m =7-3/2+2

m = 4/4

m = 1

Slope of the line through given points is 1.

Line equation is y-3 = 1(x+2)

y-3 = x+2

Add 3 to each side.

y = x+5
