Equation of parabola vertex form y = a(x-h)^2+k

Here (h,k) = (-2,5) and (x,y) = (-4,-45)

To find a

-45 = a(-4+2)^2+5

Subtract 5 from each side.

-45-5 = a*4+5-5

Divide to each side by 4.

-50/4 = a*4/4

a = -25/2

Eqution is y = -25/2 (x+2)^2+5

y =-25/2(x^2+4+4x)+5

y = (-25/2)x^2-50-50x+5

y =  (-25/2)x^2-50x-45

Equation of parabola vertex form y = (-25/2)x^2-50x-45
