The slope - intercept form of line equation is y = mx + b, where m = slope and b = y - intercept.

The slope m = 1/2 and the point (x, y) = (4, 6).

The line equation is y = (1/2)x + b.

To find the y - intercept, substitute the values of x = 4 and y = 6 in the above equation.

(6) = (1/2)(4) + b

6 = 2 + b

4 = b

The slope - intercept form of line equation is y = (1/2)x + 4.
