What does v equal?!

-292 = 6v+11(v-8)

-292 = 6v+11v-88

Add 88 to each side.

-292+88 = 17v-88+88

-204 = 17v

Divide to each side by 17.

-204/17 = 17v/17

-12 = v

There fore v equals to -12.
