Given expression 3x^2-7x+4

= 3x^2-3x-4x+4

= 3x(x-1)-4(x-1)

Take common out x-1 from above expression.

= (x-1)(3x-4)

Factoring of 3x^2-7x+4 is (x-1)(3x-4).
