Line equation y = -3x

Slope is -3.

Parallel lne slope is -3.

y-2 = -3(x+1)

y-2 = -3x-3

Add 2 to each side.

y-2+2 = -3x-3+2

y = -3x-1

Parallel line is y = -3x-1.
