Assume that the expression is image.

Because there is no image - term or image - term in the dividend and there is no constant - term in the divisor, need to line up the subtraction by using zero coefficients (or leaving spaces) for the missing terms.

Divide the first term of the dividend by the first term of the divisor is image.
