Given parabola y = -6x^2+36x-59

Compare it standard parabola form y = ax^2+bx+c.

a = -6, b = 36,c = -59

Axis of symmetry x = -b/2a = -36/-12 = 3

To find vertex substitute x value in given equation.

y = -6(3)^2+36(3)-59

y = -54+108-59

y = -5

Vertex of parabola = (3,-5).
