Given equation x-3y = 9

Subtract x from each side.

-3y = -x+9

Divide to each side by negitive 3.

y = (1/3)x-3

If x = 0,3,-3 then set coordinate pair is y = -3,-2,-4.

Graph

Draw the coordinate plane.

Plot the above points.

Connect the plotted points.

Then formed line indicating required graph of eqution.
