8x3 +2x2-5x4+3x-9

Write the equation in the standard form

5x^4+8x^3 +2x^2+3x-9

 

The degree of a polynomial is the highest degree of its terms.

So degree is the 4

Typo mistake in third line of above solution.

- 5x^4 + 8x^3 + 2x^2 + 3x - 9.
