2x-3y=-3  ---------- (1)
3x+3y=18 ----------- ( 2)

Add equations to eliminate the variable y.

2x-3y=-3
3x+3y=18

-------------

5x = 15

divide each side by 5

x = 3

Substitute x = 3 in 3x+3y=18

3 * 3 + 3y = 18

3y = 9

y = 3

(x, y) = (3, 3)
