x = 20 + 5 / 4y

Multiply each side by 4

4x = 80 + 5y

Subtract 5y from each side

4x - 5y = 80-------------(1)

4x + y / 8 = 7

Multiply each side by 8

32x + y = 56-----------(2)

Multiply each side by 5

160x+ 5y = 280-------(3)

Add first and third equations  then rewrite the another equation

164x = 360

41x = 90

x = 90 / 41

Substitute 4x = 360 / 41 in the equation (1)

360 / 41 - 5y = 80

360 - 205y = 3280

205y = -2920

y = -2920 / 205

 y = -584 / 41

The solution of the equation : x = 90 / 41 and y = -584 / 41.
