The equation is 4y-7x=9

4y-7x+7x=9+7x                                   (Add 7x to each side)

4y=7x+9                                               (Add;-7x+7x=0)

(4y/4)=(7/4)x+(9/4)                             (Divide each side by 4)

y=(7/4)x+(9/4)                                     (Simplify)

The above equation is in form of y=mx+c.

Therefore slope is 7/4.

Intercept is 9/4.

Given equation is 4y - 7x = 9

General form of slope intercept form is y = mx + c

4y - 7x = 9

4y = 7x +9

y = (7/4)x + (9/4)

Slope intercept of the line y =mx+b

Given equation 4y - 7x = 9

Apply addition property, add 7x to each side.

4y-7x+7x = 9+7x

4y = 9+7x

apply division property, divide by 4 to each side.

4y/4 = 9+7x/4

y = 9/4+(7/4)x

y = (7/4)x+9/4

slope intercept form of the solution is y = (7/4)x+9/4
