Given equations are 3x+5y = -4

Subtract 3x from each side.

3x-3x+5y = -3x-4

Divide to each side by 5.

5y/5 = -3x/5-4/5

y = -3x/5-4/5 ----> (1)

And 2x-y = -7

Subtract 2x from each side.

2x-2x-y = -2x-7

Multiple to each side by negitive one.

y = 2x+7 ----> (2)

To find coordinate points substitute x = 0,1,-1 in equations (1) and (2).

Then the ponts of first equation would be (0,-4/5),(1,-7/5),(-1,-1/5).

Points of second equation would be (0,7), (1,9),(-1,5).

Graph of above equations

Draw the coordinate plane.

Plot the above points.

Connect the ploted points.

Then the formed lines indcating given equations.

Observe the graph the two lines are intersecting at (-3,1).

Solution of gven system is x = -3, y = 1.
