Given equation 3x = -2y+4

Subtract 4 from each side.

3x-4 = -2y

Divide to each siide by negitive 2.

(-3/2)x+2 = y

y = (-3/2)x+2

Compare it to slope intercept equation y = mx+b.

m = -3/2 and y intercept is 2.

Slope - intercept form line equation is y = mx + b where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

The line equation is 3x = -2y + 4

Move Constant to left hand side by subtracting 4 from each side

3x - 4 = -2y

Write the final equation in slope intercept form by dividing the equation by -2

-3/2x + 2 = y

The line equation in slope intercept form is y = -3/2x + 2
