Given

y - 2 = - 3 / 4 ( x + 4 ).

The slope intercept form : y =mx + b.

m = Slope   b = y - intercept.

y - 2 = - 3 / 4 ( x + 4 )

Crossmultiplication.

4 (y - 2 )= - 3  ( x + 4 )

4 y - 8 = - 3 x -12

4 y = - 3 x -12+8

4y = -3x - 4

y = - 3/4 (x) - 1

Now it is in Slope interceptform  y = - 3/4 (x) - 1
