Distance riding in 43 minutes = 18 miles

Convert  units minutes to hours 1 hour = 60 minutes

In 43 minutes riding distance  = 18 miles

Riding distance in 1 minute = 18/43 miles

Now, caliculate the distance in 1 mph = (18/43) 60

= 1080/43

= 25.1162 mph

Your mph is 25.12 mph.

Number of miles travelled in 43 minutes is 18 miles.

In 1 minute you can travel 18/43 miles.

In hour or 60 minutes,  you can travel (18/43) * 60 miles

= (18*60) / 43

= 1080/43

= 25.1162 miles.

The answer is 25.1162 miles per hour.

The formula for the speed = distence / time.

Distance = 18 miles and time = 43 minutes.

The speed of the bike = 18 miles / 43 minutes.

Convert the speed from miles / minutes to miles / hour as follows.

1 hour = 60 minutes ⟹ 1 minute = 1/60 hours ⟹ 43 minute = 43/60 hours.

The speed of the bike = (18 miles)/[ (43/60) hours ] = (18)(60)/43 miles/hours = 25.12 miles/hours.
