The inequality 12 > - 4 (- 6x - 3)

12 > - 4(- 6x) - 4(- 3)

12 > 24x + 12

Subtract 12 from each side.

0 > 24x

24x < 0

Divide each side by 24.

x < 0

The solution set of the inequality is {x | x < 0}.

Solution the number line
