Let width of rectangle = x

length = 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

60 = 2(x+2x)

60 = 6x

Divide by 6 to each side.

60/6 = 6x/6

10 = x

width of rectangle = 10 cm

length of rectangle = 2*10 = 20 cm
