Let the breadth of a rectangle be b =  x m

Given that,

The length is 5m more than it's breadth => l = (x + 5) m

Perimeter = 70 m

But Perimeter P of a rectangle = 2 (l + b) m

                                           => 2(l + b) = 70

                                           => 2(x + 5 +x) = 70

                                           => 2(2x + 5) = 70

                                           => 4x + 10 = 70

                                           => 4x = 60

                                           => x = 60/4 = 15

Therefore breadth b = 15 and length l = x + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20

Therefore length and breadth of a rectangle are 20 and 15 respectively.
