Given 7x^2 = -10x

Add 10xto each side.

7x^2+10x = -10x+10x

7x^2+10x = 0

Take common out x from above equation.

x(7x+10) = 0

Apply zero product principle

x = 0 and 7x+10 = 0

7x+10 = 0

subtract 10 from each side.

7x+10-10 = 0-10

7x = -10

Divide to each side by 7.

7x/7 = -10/7

x = -10/7

Soluton x = {0,-10/7}
