Given line equation 4x+7y-4= 0

Subtract 4x from each side.

4x-4x+7y -4= 0-4x

7y-4 = -4x

Add 4 to each side.

7y = -4x+4

Divide to each side by 7.

y = (-4/7)x+4/7

Compare it to slope intercept form y = mx+b

Slope m = -4/7 and y intecept is 4/7.

Slope - intercept form line equation is y = mx + b where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

The line equation is 4x + 7y - 4 = 0

Move y variable to right hand side by subtracting 7y from each side

4x + 4 = -7y

Divide ech side by negative 7 to get the final equation in slope-intercept form

The slope intercept form line equation is y = -4/7x - 4/7
