The given line equation is  y = 2x+2  and passes throogh the point (6, 3)

compare it with slope intercept form line equation y = mx + c . m = slope.

m =2

The lines are perpendicular so new line slope = -1/m = -1/2

The line equation in point slope form is y - y1 = m (x - x1)

y - 3 = -1/2 ( x -6)

2(y -3) = -1(x - 6)

2y - 6 = -x+6

-x - 2y = 12

x +2y = -12.
