Given equation is x + y = -5

x + y = -5

y = - x - 5

It is th form of slope intercept form y = mx + c.

Given x + y = -5

Substitute x = 0

0 + y = -5

y = -5

(x , y) = (0 , -5)

Substitute y = 0

x + o = -5

x = -5

(x , y) = (-5 , 0)

Graph:-

1) Draw the graph of the equation x + y = -5

2) It represents a straight line.

3) Plot the points on the line.
