Given equation is x + 5y = 10

x + 5y = 10

5y = -x + 10

y = - (1/5)x + 2

It is in the form of slope intercept form y = mx + c.

 Given x + 5y = 10

Substitute x = 0

0 + 5(y) = 10

5y = 10

y = 2

(x , y) = (0 , 2)

Substitute y = 0

x + 5(0) = 10

x = 10

(x , y) = (10 , 0)

Graph:-

1) Draw the graph of the equation x + 5y = 10

2) It represents a straight line.

3) Plot the points on the line.
