Given :

Slope (m ) = - 5 and y - intercept (b ) = 2/3.

Slope - intercept - form : y = mx + b.

Substitute the values of m = - 5 and b = 2/3 in y = mx + b.

y  = - 5(x ) + (2/3)

= - 5x + 2/3.

Slope - intercept - form of the line equation is y  = - 5x + 2/3.
